What is adaptive cruise control?

Safety is becoming more and more important in new vehicles, and manufacturers are trying to maximize the development of these new technologies. One of these technologies is Adaptive Cruise Control, which can be found in Mazda's i-Activesense technology package.

Adaptive Cruise Control uses radar, sonar, and cameras to monitor the road in front of the car when cruise control is enabled. The system also allows the driver to choose different distance levels to keep with the vehicle ahead.

The system will then make sure to maintain this distance with the vehicle ahead even if the vehicle suddenly decelerates. This makes highway driving much more enjoyable and gives you complete peace of mind.
